This Privacy Policy explains how STARC (“STARC”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the Interface. STARC is designed to be non-custodial: most activity happens in your wallet and on public blockchains.

1. Scope

This Policy covers the STARC website and related front-end services. It does not cover third-party wallets, RPC providers, block explorers, DEX front-ends, or other sites you may visit from our Interface.

2. Information we process

Public blockchain data

Wallet addresses, transactions, balances, and contract interactions are public by design. Our indexer and Interface may read, store, and display that data to show launches, trades, charts, and analytics.

Local device data

We may store preferences on your device (for example theme, network helpers, and legal acceptance records including a wallet signature and timestamp) using browser local storage or similar mechanisms.

Technical logs

Hosting and RPC proxy infrastructure may automatically process IP addresses, user-agent strings, timestamps, and request metadata needed to operate, secure, and debug the service. Retention is limited to operational needs.

Optional uploads

If you upload a project logo or similar media, that file and associated metadata may be stored with our storage provider so it can be displayed with your launch.

What we do not collect by default

We do not require account registration with email or password.
We do not ask for seed phrases or private keys.
We do not intentionally collect government ID through the Interface.

3. How we use information

To operate and improve the Interface and indexing pipeline.
To display markets, trades, charts, and related UI state.
To enforce legal acceptance and security controls.
To diagnose outages, abuse, and rate-limit issues.
To comply with law where applicable.

4. Legal acceptance signatures

When you first connect, we may ask you to sign a message confirming acceptance of our Terms, Privacy Policy, and Risk Disclosure. The signature proves control of the wallet address at that time. We store the acceptance record locally in your browser; we do not need your private key to verify a signature.

5. Sharing

We may share information with:

Infrastructure providers (hosting, databases, RPC, storage, analytics or error monitoring) acting on our behalf.
Public blockchains, which make transactions globally visible.
Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Cookies and similar tech

We may use essential cookies or local storage for session/wallet UX, theme, and legal acceptance. We do not run advertising trackers as part of the core Interface.

7. Retention

Indexed chain data may be retained while useful for the product. Operational logs are retained for a limited period. You can clear local acceptance and preferences by clearing site data in your browser.

8. International transfers

Our providers may process data in multiple regions. By using the Interface, you understand that information may be processed outside your country, subject to provider safeguards.

9. Your choices

Disconnect your wallet at any time.
Stop using the Interface.
Clear local storage / site data in your browser.
Contact us if you believe we hold personal data beyond public chain data and you wish to make a request under applicable privacy law.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy by posting a new version with an updated effective date. Material changes may require renewed acceptance.
